MinNature Malaysia: Experiencing Every Inch of Malaysia, Literally

March 11, 2020

Malaysia has been ranked as "Best Country" in the world and Malaysia has so much to offer: amazing places, stunning environment and etc. Now tourists and the public get to know Malaysia closer as  MinNature Malaysia @Jumpa, Sungei Wang will open it doors on March3, 2020.

Its project director, Wan Cheng Huat said the launch is good timing with the government’s Visit Malaysia Year 2020. “Tourists will have a good glimpse of the beauty of what Malaysia has to offer during their stay here,” he said.

MinNature Malaysia is located at Level 1, tourists will be able to experience over 100 heritage and iconic buildings around the country in miniaturized form and over 10,000 other figurines that depict the Malaysian life in this 13,000 sq ft exhibition area. I am impressed with the figurines and they look so real. Every item are created beautifully.

He elaborated the exhibition will provide more information on the various tourism spots where they can be mesmerized with the various Malaysian culture, as well as places of interest, from directions, the best time of the visit and other necessary information.

According to Mr. Wan “It is like coming home to Malaysia, and you see so many wonderful places to visit, and with the information provided you can plan your journey there.”  Notwithstanding, it is also a good opportunity for locals to learn more about the country.

Previously, located at Summit USJ, Subang Jaya, Wan said the move is a good synergy with JUMPA@Sungei Wang Plaza’s new branding initiative of making it a lifestyle mall in the city. “We are expecting about 100,000 visitors for the year as we are in a strategic location,” he said.

About MinNature Malaysia

The idea of miniature gallery started in 2008 and it has been evolving constantly, exploring and developing its identity. Each display tells their own stories of life, hope and celebration. A total of 37 people were involved in the making of a magical place. MinNature Malaysia used a combination of traditional model making such as clay art, papier-mache, woodworks, metal works etc and state of the art technology.

Overall, I  get to learn and experienced the rich history behind Malaysia's multi-ethnic society. The exhibition is one of its kind and truly unique experience.
