Busan Spa Land Centum City - Best Korean Jjimjilbang Spa

June 23, 2019

Jjimjilbang is gender-segregated public bathhouse in Korean. Jjimjilbang is a place whereby local and tourist enjoy the hangout and a hot soak, steam room, as they believe it can benefit your health and beauty. This is my first time experienced Busan Spa land Centum City and I do feel awkward in the beginning. In the end, I enjoy the whole journey at Jjimjilbang.

Busan Spa Land Centum City is located inside Shinsegae Mall. Take a subway and get down at Centum City. Look for Exit 12 (APEC Naru Park). Look for entrance 4 that brings you to Spa Land entrance. Before you enter the Spa, you have to pay at the reception area. Luckily I secure my ticket in advance with KKday. Just scan the QR code and the reception will pass you the locker key for your shoe.

We directly went up to second entrance whereby we need to deposit our shoe in the locker. Keep the locker key with you as it acts as a token to ‘record’ the purchase amount of our snack and food inside. No cash required at the outlets inside Spa Land. The electronic key-wristband is an e-wallet and payment at the counter upon exit. Before we enter the bathing zone, the staff will hand one towel and clothes for you to change.

We started with outdoor feet bath after tiring day. Love the architecture of the outdoor feet bath area and there is varying temperature pool for you to choose. It helps to relieve the tension of our feet and allow a better blood circulation on our feet.

Experience the difference theme of steam or sauna room. The hottest temperature is 60 degrees and is like burning charcoal. Don't forget to explore Roman sauna, Ice room, Pyramid room, Wave Dream room and etc.

After the sweating process, we proceed with the bathing zone and is gender-segregated area. No pictures were allowed at the locker and bathing zone as everyone had to be completely naked to soak in the baths. There are different soaking pools with varying temperature. Some of the pools had bicarbonate water in it and make sure you try it. Next to the bathing pools was the shower area whereby shampoo, shower gel and scrubbing towel were provided at the Spa Land. The body lotion at the vanity area.

Is time to fill up your tummy while enjoying some movie. At the entertainment zone, there are Relaxation room, snack and bar, beauty treatment room and massage chair at the selected area. We spend almost 6 hours at Spa Land and valuable experience. I highly you to try this Spa Land when you visit Busan.
