Ginn International began its first in-a-series Press Conference and Participation Call for its inaugural Ginn Fairy Queen International Beauty Pageant (Korea) at the Mid Valley Convention Centre on 28th October 2018. 


The first-ever truly international Beauty Pageant to be held in Korea is slated for 25th May 2019, and will witness Pageant Participants from Malaysia, China (including the SAR of HK), and South Korea itself. 


The usually homogenous peninsula nation of Korea is opening its doors to a wave of new trade and talent interest from South East Asia and the Asia Pacific to more effectively introduce its intrinsic culture and commercial viability beyond K-entertainment and a small sub-section of the beauty industry. This constitutes the Korean Wave 2.0 sweeping out from this "Gentle Nation". 


Ginn International, which is based in HK with a strong presence in South Korea and South East Asia, is poised to ride on this next wave of K-trends via a strong collaboration with the Arts & Cultural Organizations of South Korea. 

Since 2017, Ginn International has begun working with the Federation of Arts & Culture Organizations of Korea (FACO) via the Appointment of its Founder (Ms Ginnie Lam) as the International Ambassador of the Senior Model Association of Korea (under FACO). This represents a strong interest by the Korean-government-affiliated body to spread its wings and influence beyond its local homogenous audience. 


Towards this direction, Ginn International has participated in and organized multiple Cultural Showcases both in South Korea and abroad, with the Year 2018 featured theme of traditional Hanbok Fashion Runway Shows. This latest series of Press Conference activities reiterates Ginn International's commitment to promoting arts & culture as its core mission by announcing the upcoming international beauty pageant contest to bring the eyes of the world upon South Korea's multi-faceted cultural elements and artistic excellence. 

During this Press Conference with some of KL's popular bloggers and mainstream media, Ginn International also announced its progress in the Star Brand Awards International program, a fully commercial initiative to connect South Korea's best lifestyle brands with the Digital Influencers' communities within South East Asia and the Asia Pacific. This is reflected in Ginn International's dedication to working closely with local bloggers, social media Influencers, and even national beauty pageant champions in its commercial activities such as Expos and Trade Fairs. 

The Star Brand Awards International Grand Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Ginn Fairy Queen International Beauty Pageant Finals on the 25th of May 2019, in Seoul (South Korea). The Grand Gala on this date will recognize 10 top Korean Brands and 10 top Digital Influencers from all across South East Asia and the Asia Pacific.
