The Kuala Lumpur Journal @ Jalan Beremi, Bukit Bintang

February 17, 2016

The Kuala Lumpur Journal is a new concept hotel that located in the heart of the city. Stylishly designed with a modern retro vibe and a unique local flavor capture my attention to stay at The Kuala Lumpur Journal. This year Valentine's Day, I plan to surprise my fiancee and treat him a stay at The Kuala Lumpur Journal.

5 -10 Minutes Walk

Nightlife and Food: Changkat neighborhood and Jalan Alor
Shopping Malls: Pavilion, Starhill, Lot 10, Sungai Wang Plaza
Transportation : Bukit Bintang Monorail

10-15 Minutes Walk

Iconic Landmark: Petronas Twin Towers
Classical Music & Concerts: Petronas Philharmonic
Others : Suria KLCC, KL Convention Center and park.

The rooms are designed in a soothing palette of soft neutral tones with accents of colour in the furnishings. Having a good sleep as the hotel provide soft ergonomic mattresses with high thread count sheets, micro fiber and duck down pillows .

Comfortable work desk with adjustable lamp that suit for me. I bringing my laptop on that day to work and try on their WIFI Connection. Frankly speaking, the WIFI speed is slow at night and not so stable if compare to connection at The Shack @ Workers Union at first floor.

The bathroom is quite spacious and they provided hair dryer, bathrobe , toiletries and high pressure rain shower.

No worry if your clothes is crumple on that day as you can find the ironing board and iron in the room.  Keep your belonging in the safety box that install inside the drawer. First time I see the safety box hide inside the drawer. hehe
Basic things you can found in every hotel. Tea bag or coffee pack, 2 bottles mineral water and also mini fridge.

I book my hotel through and put a request that I would love to surprise my fiancee and to my disappointment did not communicate with hotel regarding my request. It teach me a lesson that I will only use familiar online booking website. Price a bit expensive as I book it for RM325.
