Carousell Malaysia Community Meet Up @ Kotak-Kotak Cafe

This is my first time attend Carousell community meet up. According to Marcus, one of Carousell Co-Founder, this is the 5th meet up.

This meet up is organize at Kotak- Kotak Cafe, Glenmarie. Carousell choose this location as they have a number of Carousell user stay around this area. Before we start the session, we been served a light dinner.

After the amazing dinner, Marcus starts to share with us regarding Carousell. This story started when 3 of this youngster pursue their studies at California in technology. Carousell started up 3 years ago (May 2015) in Singapore whereby only 3 of them in that company.

Why they started up Carousell? They find some of the website is not user friendly especially you want to buy/sell your items on website. That make them think to start up Carousell by provide a friendly user app to buyer or seller. After 1.5 years, Carousell become Singapore No.1 apps that gain a lot of user. But this 3 Co- Founder (Marcus Tan, Lucas Ngoo and Quek Siu Rui) never stop at there as they keep improve their system by doing some survey or talk to their user to gain more suggestion, feedback or idea to improve Carousell. Carousell has become famous not only in Singapore but also Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia and etc.
