Pavilion Reit Malls Usher In Deepavali With Festively Unique Kolams

Deepavali is coming soon, let's celebrate the festival of lights at Pavilion REIT Malls with an exciting program that lines up for you. Pavilion REIT Malls - Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Intermark Mall and Da Men Mall present unique kolams to embrace the festival's spirits and the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.


And this is the first time ever, Pavilion KL presents an illuminated kolam at Pavilion Crystal Fountain and enters the Malaysia Book of Records for "The Biggest Illuminated Fabric Flower Kolam". While Intermark Mall also gains entry to Malaysia Book of Records for "The Biggest Peacock Replica Kolam Made of Coffee Grounds", as the mall combines the festive celebrations with International Coffee Month and a message of sustainability. And Da Men mall features a charming kolam, designed and created by kids 7 and above.




This year themed is 'Divine Diwali' - a joyous Deepavali event to kickstart the celebration of the Festival of Lights. The mall turns into a beautiful place whereby the shoppers can enjoy the 9 beautiful kolams, lavishly decorated with colorful florals, strategically placed at various precincts of the mall. The main showcase of Divine Diwali is at the Pavilion Crystal Fountain featuring the "Biggest Illuminated Flower Fabric Kolam" awarded by the Malaysia Book of Records.




From now until 31st October 2019, Divine Diwali supported by the Indian High Commission welcomes all to enjoy the Deepavali festivities, showcasing not only colorful, vivid decorations but also vibrant dance performances, irresistible shopping rewards and exciting experiences in the month-long celebration of Deepavali. To add to the vibrant ambiance from 1-6 October, a bazaar, selling traditional Indian clothes, desserts and snacks, home art and decor is located at Main entrance, level 3 to coincide with Diwali launch. From 7 to 31st October, the bazaar will relocate to connection. 


During the launch, Guest of Honour H.E.Shri Mridul Kumar, High Commissioner of India and his wife Mrs. Sumita Goyal, Dato Joyce Yap, CEO (Retail) of Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, Dato' Philip Ho, CEO of Pavilion REIT; board of directors of Pavilion REIT, senior management of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, as well as guests, shoppers and visitors were all present to witness the lighting of the 'Biggest Illuminated Fabric Flower Kolam".






During this ceremony, Pavilion is a partnership with Maybank and M.A.C Cosmetics through an interactive digital journey. There is a M.A.C Cosmetics activation booth at Main Entrance as well as Connection precinct where the new store is located on Level 3.

For Maybank cardholders, they may redeem a limited-edition candle holder by spending a minimum of RM300 in a single receipt or RM200 with Maybank credit card at specialty stores. Besides that, they also can redeem Bric's Milano festive pouch by spending a minimum of RM800 in a single receipt on a Maybank credit card at specialty stores.
